Dr. Singer's fluid mosaic model is a widely accepted model of cell membrane structure.

 

Tertiary Literature

The final stage of the information cycle is the tertiary literature which summarizes atertiarynd points to the primary literature only after it has become widely accepted and believed. Examples of tertiary literature include: handbooks, encyclopedias, and textbooks. Reference works, such as dictionaries and encyclopedias, contain information that has been summarized from primary and secondary sources and can appear many years after the original publications on a subject.
