You are looking only for information on a subject

As we shall see, there are different kinds of subject searching:

subject searching on TRELLIS (the online catalogue)
subject searching on abstracts, indexes, etc.

Known Item

You already have a citation or reference to a particular item, which you found:

in a bibliography in a book, journal article, conference paper, etc.
by doing a subject search in an abstract or index
from a researcher working in the field
from a listserv or newsgroup on the Internet

AND now you want to locate a copy of the item.
