- can supply material not at UW or WLU, AND needed for courses or research
- cannot borrow reference books like encyclopedias, directories, and databooks from other libraries
- cannot obtain photocopies that violate copyright law as interpreted by the library that owns a copy of the item (e.g. too large a part of a book or a journal issue)
- How to Complete a Request
- How Much Will it Cost?
- Currently the library absorbs all costs, except for the purchase of theses, reports, patents and standards.
- How Long Will it Take?
- Some things can come in 48 hours, some take months.
- If it is available from Canadian university libraries, it usually arrives within 2 weeks.
- If it is available from Ontario university libraries, it is usually within a week.
- How Long Can I Have a Loaned Book For?
- The loan period is 3 weeks.
