Online Access current standards through the ASTM Standards website. There is no extra software needed. Print ASTM issues a complete set of their standards annually. Waterloo subscribed to them in print from 1970 until 2008, when we converted to online. Search for print editions in the Library catalogue.

CSA provides full-text access to Canadian standards and codes.

Online IEEE Standards are accessible through the IEEE Xplore database. Use the Advanced Search feature and limit to "standards" under Content Type. Print versions of IEEE standards were issued in conjunction with another organization, eg, IEEE-ANSI. Search for older standards in the Library Catalogue, and use "standard" within your search for best results.
