Welcome to the Introduction to Chicago Manual of Style, 18th Edition: Author-Date Style Libraries' course series. This first module is part of the five integrated modules that cover formatting, style, in-text citations, and reference list citations in Chicago Author-Date Style (18th Edition). In this first module, you will be introduced to the importance of citations in academic writing and when they need to be used.
