Recommending Material for Acquisition

Suggestions that the Library purchase a book or periodical not already in the collection can be made by using a Purchase Request form available at the Information Desks (Porter, Davis, and University Map and Design Libraries) or an electronic form which will be forwarded to your departmental liaison librarian. Library purchases depend on the relevance to teaching and research, funds available, costs, etc. There is no guarantee that a requested item will be purchased.

Recommendations regarding Internet resources can be sent to the liaison librarian responsible for collection development in the discipline.
